Meta has released a detailed update on its Superintelligence initiative, highlighting how much the company has changed over the past year as it attempts to close the gap with OpenAI, Google DeepMind, and Anthropic. 

 

The update outlines major investments in AI research, computing infrastructure, custom hardware, and top engineering talent, making it clear that Meta intends to become one of the world's leading artificial intelligence companies.

 

The company's renewed AI strategy began after Meta reorganized its artificial intelligence teams following earlier challenges with its Llama models.
